- On deck, from aft, liferaft canister stowage is on brackets outboard of the galvanised stern rail (pushpit)
- Inboard, the rail also carries two iroko seats on the quarters and an outboard motor bracket
- Midships is the large Lewmar 52 self-tailing, two speed genny winch and two cleats
- To port, the wooden gas locker holds 3 gas cylinders and drains overboard.
- The fender board doubles as a seat-back for the gas locker seat.
- A Danforth kedge anchor is stowed behind it.
- Forward of the midships boom horse is the steering box containing the autohelm and the differential steering gear.
- The throttle lever is on the side of the steering box, easily to hand.
- The wheel on the forward side of the steering box is easily handled while sitting side-saddle on the box. Glance’s balance and well-behaved handling makes finger-tip steering the norm.

- On the after face of the doghouse, facing the steering position is the GPS display, wind speed indicator, log and depth gauge and engine controls.
- A Sestrel compass is fixed to the bridgedeck.
- On either side of the after end of the doghouse are the bronze staysail winches.
- On the roof of the doghouse is the 20volt solar panel.
- Teak handrails run the length of the doghouse on either side.
- The doghouse roof, the coachroof forward of it and the whole deck are glassfibre covered and painted.
- Dorade boxes on either side of the main saloon hatch provide ventilation.
- Forward of the coachroof, the mast partners provide a ring to secure the mast boot.
- The chain plates are linked by tie rods (through the forecabin lockers) to the underside of the mast step to provide a complete ring round the top to bottom of the mast to prevent hogging.
- Forward of the forecabin hatch, another dorade box provides ventilation.
- The Reids of Paisley anchor winch and windlass are midships. The 56lb CQR anchor stows snugly in the starboard bow roller
- The port bow roller allows a mooring strop to be brought aboard with a large soft eye slipping over the bitts.
- The bitts fix the inbopard end of the bowsprit
- The pulpit is galvanised
- The cap rail above the bulwark is American white oak with galvanised stanchions through it to deck bases. The guardrails are plastic covered stainless steel
- Inside the bulwark and on the sides of the doghouse and coachroof are numerous sturdy wooden cleats
- Decks, doghouse roof and coachroof epoxy/glassfibred over recent years.

- The mast is spruce, hollow except in the way of the galvanised fixings. Well varnished
- The two sets of spreaders are ash, also varnished.
- Varnished spinnaker pole and boom
- The standing rigging is galvanised, running rigging is a mixture of rope and stainless steel
- Stainless steel running backstays from the upper spreaders lead back through Tufnol blocks to large bronze Highfield levers outboard of the steering box
- Bronze main and genoa halyard winches on mast. Staysail tensioning is block and tackle from the eye on the mast partners.
- Galvanised socket for spinnaker pole
- Sails in very good condition
- High cut (yankee) genoa with Harken furler. 125% area and heavy canvas. Sheets come inboard through stand-up-spring Tufnol blocks on cap rail to the single Lewmar 52 self-tailing two-speed winch at the stern.
- Staysail fills the slot below the genoa without obscuring view forward. Furlex 300S reefing with sheets controlled by the bronze winches on the after ends of the doghouse sides.
- Mainsail is also heavy canvas with lazy jack system and on-the-boom zipped cover. Has 2 slab reefs though roller reefing mechanism is also on the boom.
